HOW DO I ENTER THE PARADE?

   Parade entries have not opened for the 2023 year. When open, all entries can be submitted on this website. Additional information, including the year's Theme can be found on the Entries page.

WHEN ARE PARADE ENTRIES OPEN?

   Entries for the Parade usually open on the second Saturday in October and close on Thanksgiving Day.

WHAT IS THE THEME FOR THIS YEAR?

   Information about the Theme for this year's Parade can be found on our Entries Page.

WILL THE PARADE BE CANCLED DUE TO WEATHER?

   The Redding Lighted Christmas Parade is a winter parade. The Parade will run in all weather conditions (including rain and snow). The parade will only be canceled when the safety of the public is at risk. 

WHAT AM I ALLOWED TO ENTER?

   Any entry is allowed as long as it follows the Parade Rules. If you have an entry that is not covered by these rules, feel free to Contact Us to ask any questions you might have.

WHAT DAY/TIME IS THE PARADE?

   The Parade is always on the first Saturday in December. The Parade starts at 6pm, but the streets surrounding the Parade route will close earlier. Please see our Maps page for more information.

WHEN IS THE THEME CONTEST AND HOW DO I ENTER?

   The Theme Contest for 2023 has not opened yet. Ideas can be submitted either by our Theme Contest page or by filling out the Contact Us form and including "Theme Contest" in the subject line.

DO YOU HAVE/ALLOW VENDORS?

   Due to the location of the parade route, we do not have room for vendors.
